About Us

Derby Depression Club was formed in 2003 as a follow on group to support people with Anxiety and Depression after discharge from therapy.

Today the Club is a thriving organisation, which holds regular meetings in a relaxed and friendly environment, along with informal social events.

Activities comprise of guest speakers on a wide range of topics from medication to alternative therapies, quiz nights, and in-house discussions.

The Club has leaflets and over 190 books and tapes that members can borrow, on a range of helpful topics.

There is no membership fee, and refresments are provided, for which a donation (usually £1) is made.

The Club is open to all adults suffering from anxiety and depression as well as friends and carers.
