About Us

Derby Depression Club was formed in 2003 as a follow on group to support people with anxiety and depression after discharge from hospital and therapy.

Today the Club is a thriving organisation which holds regular meetings in a relaxed and friendly environment, as well as informal social events.

Activities comprise of guest speakers on a wide range of topics from medication to alternative therapies, quiz nights, and in house discussions.

The Club has self help leaflets and over 200 self help books, CD’s, DVD’s and tapes, that members can borrow.

There is no membership fee, but a donation of Ł1 per visit is requested to cover the cost of the room and refreshments.

The Club is open to all adults suffering from anxiety and depression as well as friends, relatives and carers.
